Biography

Dr. Bochra Idris is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship with research interests in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), innovation, internationalization, and entrepreneurial education. She has published in several peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of International Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour & Research, and Journal of Small Business Management, and has contributed to edited volumes and commissioned reports.

Her work has been recognized with awards such as the Best Paper Award at the ISBE Conference and the GOAT Teaching Award from Aston Student Union. Dr. Idris has led and contributed to several academic initiatives, including securing internal and external grants focused on crowdfunding in entrepreneurship education and supporting migrant women entrepreneurs in Turkey.

In addition to her academic role, she regularly delivers workshops, engages in collaborative research, and serves on editorial boards and peer review panels for journals in her field.
