Dr. Emrah Ahi is currently an Assistant Professor of Finance and a member of the Center for Financial Engineering at Ozyegin University. He has more than 15 years of experience in various fields of finance. Dr. Ahi worked at HSBC Global Asset Management as the head of Multi-Asset Funds for three years. Dr. Ahi graduated from Middle East Technical University with a major in Mathematics. After getting his math degree, he continued his academic career at Koc University with an MS degree in Computational Science and Engineering. He got his PhD from Ozyegin University in the field of finance. His research fields are fixed income securities, asset pricing, derivatives, machine learning, and data science.
