Biography

Errikos Melissinos is an economist specializing in macroeconomics and finance, with a particular focus on monetary economics, asset pricing, and computational methods. He earned his PhD in Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt, complemented by a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the Barcelona School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Athens. Prior to joining Özyegin University, he gained research and teaching experience at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE and the Deutsche Bundesbank. His research explores real term premia in consumption-based models, monetary policy evaluation, and computational methods for asset pricing models.
