Gurbet Kabadayı had her BA degree from Akdeniz University in English Language Teaching in 2014, and her master's degree from Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in the English Language Teaching Department in 2021. Since 2014, she has been working as an ESL instructor in higher education institution. Her master's thesis, titled "The Investigation of Summer Learning Loss Among University Preparatory Students," focusing on language education and student development. In addition to her professional work, she has been actively involved in women's human rights and gender equality advocacy through various NGOs and professional organizations for over a decade. She is also engaged in research on the integration of AI in language education, focusing on learner autonomy, speaking skills development, and AI-enhanced assessment practices. Before joining Özyeğin University, she worked at Antalya Bilim University Preparatory School. Currently, she continues her work as an ESL lecturer, combining her expertise in language teaching with innovative approaches using AI.
