Nagihan Çömez Dolgan is a Professor at Operations Management with extensive research contributions to the field of inventory management within supply chain coordination context. Her work, published in leading academic journals, spans both theoretical and empirical studies focusing on inventory sharing (transshipment) systems, coordinated pricing and inventory decisions, and the impact of mergers & acquisitions, top management gender, and macroeconomic shocks on inventory policies. She has also made contributions to retail operations management, focusing on assortment optimization and co-storing strategies.

Beyond research, Prof. Dolgan has held department chair roles, designed special sessions at academic conferences, and is an Associate Editor for RAIRO-Operations Research Journal.

She holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management and an M.S. in Supply Chain Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, as well as a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Bogazici University. Prior to joining Özyeğin University, she was as a faculty member at Bilkent University and İstanbul Şehir University. She has been offering courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, including Operations Management, Management Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Consulting Models, and Statistical Analysis.
