Biography

Dr. Yavuz Selim Hindistan earned his B.Sc. in Physics from Bogazici University and began his career in the IT industry. With over 20 years of professional experience, he has held senior IT roles at leading companies such as Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, Organik Kimya, Dogtas Kelebek, and Doehler Turkey. In 2020, he founded Manage IT Remote Consultancy to provide academic and strategic services in IT and digital transformation, a role he continues to lead.

Building on his industry expertise, he completed an MBA at Bilgi University and a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems at Kadir Has University. His doctoral research focused on artificial intelligence, particularly privacy preservation using Generative Adversarial Networks and Differential Privacy.

Dr. Hindistan currently serves as a faculty member at Ozyegin University, where he teaches Java programming, cloud computing, database management, and algorithmic thinking. His academic interests include AI and data privacy.
