The Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu International Student Exchange Programs Scholarship has been established to honor the late Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu, who passed away in 2022, and her dedication to advancing women in our society. The program is designed to support female undergraduate students at Özyeğin University who participate in international exchanges, internships, and short-term programs. 300 female students are expected to be funded by this program in 15 years.

ZEYNEP ALP KÖSEOĞLU (1958 - 2022)

After completing Notre Dame de Sion High School, Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu received her B.A. in Mathematics from Boğaziçi University and M.A. in Business Administration from Istanbul University. Her career began at Emlak Bankası in 1987, where she held various senior management positions. A dedicated supporter of Atatürk’s principles, Ms. Köseoğlu was committed to women’s rights and girls’ education. Upon her passing in June 2022, to continue and honor Köseoğlu’s commitment to the advancement of women in our society, the “Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu International Student Exchange Programs Scholarship” was established to support female undergraduate students at Özyeğin University to participate in international exchange programs. In recognition of this program, the AB3 Auditorium at Özyeğin University has been named after Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu.
